On June 14, 2018, the establishment meeting of the group standardization technical committee of the China Forest Machinery Association was held in Beijing. Leaders of the association such as Liu Qun attended the meeting and members from 67 forestry machinery enterprises, scientific research institutes and other units attended the meeting.
At the meeting, first read the 'Notice on the Composition of the Staff of the Standardization Management Committee and the Technical Committee'. Liu Qun, chairman of the newly established standard committee, deputy director, secretary general, and deputy secretary general, issued a letter of appointment. A letter of appointment was issued.
The member of the Guilin Forestry Processing Machinery Standardization Committee and Professor Ma Yan of Northeast Forestry University spoke on behalf of the committee. It is understood that some enterprises have already applied for a number of group standards application projects to the association. The plan will be formally approved after discussion and review. The organization will hold a certification meeting to discuss and study the first batch of group standard-setting work during the year.
The China Forestry Machinery Association attaches great importance to group standardization work. The Association's Forest Processing Machinery Standardization Technical Committee and the Outdoor Forest Machinery Standardization Technical Committee have been established, and a relatively complete group standardization working system covering forestry machinery industry has been established.
