Of this total, 1.48 million kilowatts were hydropower, up from the same period last year. Less production was 2.98 million kW, down 66.9% year-on-year; thermal power was 9.8 million kW, and 3.5 million kW was less put into operation compared with the same period of last year, down 26.3% year-on-year; nuclear power added 1.13 million kW, and 40,000 kW was put into production more than in the same period last year; wind power was 630 Millions of kilowatts of electricity were put into production, which was 1.08 million kilowatts more than the same period of last year, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%; solar power generation was 15.18 million kilowatts, which was 3.49 million kilowatts more than the same period of last year, an increase of 29.9% year-on-year.

From January to May, the proportion of new nuclear power, wind power, and solar installations nationwide increased. Among them, newly added hydropower accounted for 4.4% of the total new installed capacity, which was 8.1 percentage points lower than the same period of last year; the proportion of newly installed thermal power installed capacity reached 28.9%. Compared with the same period of last year, it decreased by 8.3%; the proportion of newly installed nuclear power installed capacity was 3.3%, an increase of 0.29 percentage points over the same period of last year; 18.6% of newly added wind power accounted for, which was an increase of 3.99% over the same period of last year; 44.8% of newly installed installed capacity of solar power was added. , an increase of 12.1 percentage points over the same period last year.
