On June 20, 2018, SnapPower of the United States filed an application with the US International Trade Commission pursuant to Section 337 of the U.S. Customs Act of 1930, alleging infringement of the outlet cover (CertainPoweredCoverPlates) imported into the United States or sold in the United States. Its patent rights, requested the US International Trade Commission issued a general exclusion order and prohibition orders. Shenzhen Chaomingwei Electronics Co., Ltd., Zhongshan City, Aihuahuade Lighting Co., Ltd. and other six Chinese companies as listed defendants.
