Google tries to get Pixelbook certified for Windows 10

In April of this year, some netizens discovered that Google is testing the AltOS mode on the Pixelbook, enabling dual-system startup or even running dual systems. And there is increasing evidence that the Pixelbook can seamlessly start Windows locally.

According to XDA, Google is trying to get Google Pixelbook certified through Windows 10. According to reports, Google Hardware Certification Kit Windows Hardware Certification Toolkit and Windows Hardware Lab Kit Windows Hardware Experiment Toolkit have appeared in Google’s recently submitted code and comments.

XDA also stated in the report that Google is pave the way for running Microsoft officially certified Windows 10, and hopes to be able to run Windows directly in the future. The Windows Hardware Test Kit can prove that the hardware of the device can run Windows. If it is certified by hardware, then Google Pixelbook Will have a guaranteed Windows system, including normal signed drivers.
