ASUS eight Z390 motherboard debut: mainstream eight core dedicated?

Intel platform motherboards, interface replacement is quite frequent, eight generations of Core also appeared on the same LGA1151 interface, 200/300 series motherboard is not compatible with the phenomenon, and with the acceleration of the development of Intel's product lines, the platform will be more and more complex .

Intel has previously announced the specifications of the new high-end chipset Z390, but the motherboard has not appeared until now, and finally there are some clues.

Z370 Maximus X Hero

Asustek's first eight models of Z390 motherboards have been identified, four of which belong to the ROG Player Kingdom series, namely the ROG Maximus XI Code, ROG Maximus XI Extreme, ROG Maximus XI Formula, and ROG Maximus XI Hero.

Z370 era Asustek did not release 'Maximus X Extreme', may feel that Z370 status is not high enough, this time will finally have to hit the limits again, and there should also be a Maximus XI Apex.

There are also four models that belong to the ROG Strix series, namely ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming, ROG Strix Z390-F Gaming, ROG Strix Z390-H Gaming, ROG Strix Z390-I Gaming.

There is also a ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming on the Z370 platform, which is divided into a wired version and a wireless version. It should continue. After all, only the first models are known.

The specific release time of the Z390 motherboard is unknown (most likely in the fall). Whether it is prepared for the legendary mainstream of the eight cores is also uncertain (it can only be said to be extremely probable).

In fact, at the Taipei Computer Show, we had looked forward to seeing the Z390 mainboard. As a result, no one company had a bit of movement. We also tried to dig out some of the inside story. We ended up secretly saying nothing at all.

We once thought that the emergence of the Z370 was only a temporary transition. The Z390 was Intel's original plan. However, it is strange that from the specification point of view, the Z390 has not changed much. It only involves native USB 3.1 Gen.2, 802.11ac Wave2. , Bluetooth 5, 32Gbps M.2/U.2 interface, etc., PCI-E 3.0 channel, DDR4 memory frequency has not changed, can only look forward to more details hidden.

In addition, It can be confirmed that the Z390 supports the existing eight-generation Core processors, but whether the future eight cores can run on the Z370 motherboard is still unknown. Pray for it.
