Gigabyte also shows four M.2 SSDs in parallel: Supports AMD X399 platform

At the Taipei Computer Show, it was suddenly a popular practice to put four M.2 SSDs on a single PCI-E 3.0 x16 expansion card. ASUS, ASRock, MSI, and Plextor all had similar plans. I did it but I saw it for a while. Now I see Gigabyte again.

Gigabyte's expansion card is called Aorus PCIe x16 M.2, It is still a prototype of 0.1 version, whether it can be listed on the market yet. Currently, it is mainly to demonstrate Intel Optane Technology.

Gigabyte did not give any measured data, but stressed that Their solution supports the AMD X399 ThreadRipper thread ripped platform and has been tested.

This is good news for players who like the AMD fever platform.

Before this, The AMD X399 platform already supports the NVMe SSD RAID array mode. Multiple SSDs can be used to create RAID 0/1/10. Support as a system disk , Measured speed can be easily mounted on 6GB/s.
