Global semiconductor sales continue to grow: Domestic self-developed chip catch-up

As the most important part of the science and technology industry, the development of the chip is crucial, and Chinese manufacturers are also striving to develop autonomous processors and memory.

Recently, the data released by the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) in April this year showed that global semiconductor sales reached 37.6 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 20.2% from a total of 31.3 billion U.S. dollars.

In terms of sales, the Americas accounted for 34.1%, China accounted for 22.1%, Europe accounted for 21.4%, Japan accounted for 14.6%, and Asia Pacific and other regions accounted for 10.2%.

At present, the global semiconductor industry has maintained a strong sales trend, with an annual growth rate of more than 20% for 13 consecutive months. For domestic manufacturers, everyone is also working hard on their own chips.
