In terms of international comparison, the "Report" shows that the level of China's intellectual property development ranks in the middle and upper reaches of the world, and the overall index for the development of intellectual property rights has increased from 57.73 in 2015 to 61.91 in 2016, and the gap with the power of intellectual property has further narrowed.
During the five years from 2012 to 2016, the overall level of intellectual property development in China, especially the protection and utilization level of intellectual property rights, has risen rapidly. However, compared with the world level, China's intellectual property environment index is ranked 29th. It is believed that the intellectual property environment is still the main constraint of the development level of intellectual property in China.
