Lucent launches domestic NVMe SSD master: Supports QLC, up to 4TB

At Computex Taipei, Hangzhou Lianhe Technology displayed its latest SATA3 SSD host MAS0902, compatible with SK Hynix/Toshiba/Micron/Violet TLC flash memory and Intel QLC flash memory.

However, limited by the theoretical bandwidth of 6Gbps SATA3, the maximum read and write speed is only 560MB/s.

According to TMHW reports, Alliance also prepared to support NVMe 1.3 specification, take the high-end master PCIe 3.0 x4 channel , MAP0902 and MAP0901, respectively, the former without DRAM, the latter can be integrated DDR3/LPDDR3/LPDDR4/DDR4, etc. to further improve performance.

Specifications, Supports mainstream 2D/3D flash memory, including QLC media, MAP0902 maximum 2TB, MAP0901 maximum 4TB.

Not surprisingly, the speed of the SSDs of the MAP0902/0901 master with TLC Flash is expected to exceed 3GB/s. The M.2 interface style is shown on the show. Official said, More detailed information will be announced at the Flash Memory Summit in August and is expected to be available at the end of the year.

After the main control, flash memory has reached the level of world mainstream, the future of domestic SSD will be brighter, thus providing consumers with more choices.
