Forbes' Global Listed Company 2000 ranks according to the comprehensive scores of listed company's operating income, profit, assets and market value. According to Forbes website, this is Forbes's 16th "Global Listed Company 2000" list. Listed companies include listed companies from 60 countries. The total operating income of listed companies reached US$39.1 trillion, profits were US$3.2 trillion, total assets reached US$189 trillion, and total market capitalization reached US$56.8 trillion. This year is the first time since 2015 that China and the United States ranked the top 10 in the list. There are 291 listed companies from China in the list. The number of listed companies from the United States reached 560, ranking first among all countries.
In this list, ICBC made a profit of US$165.3 billion, a profit of US$43.7 billion, a top asset of US$421.09 billion and a market value of US$311 billion. China Construction Bank ranked second, and JP Morgan Chase ranked third. Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and Ping An Insurance Group also entered the top 10 list.
The Forbes Global 2000 List includes a number of well-known companies in the global consumer electronics and home appliance industries. Among them, Apple Inc. from the United States ranks 8th; Samsung Electronics Inc. from South Korea ranks 14, LG Electronics ranks 411; Japan Enterprise Sony ranks 86, Panasonic ranks 231, Daikin Industry ranks 447. Hon Hai Precision from China Taiwan ranks 105th on the list.
On the list, China’s consumer electronics and home appliance companies, Midea’s group generated US$37.8 billion in revenue, US$2.7 billion in profits, US$40.1 billion in assets and US$55.7 billion in market value ranked 245, and Gree’s US$23.9 billion in US$3.6 billion in revenue. Dollar profit, $34.7 billion in assets, and $45.1 billion in market capitalization ranked 294th on the list. Qingdao Haier ranked 565th with $24.6 billion in revenue, $1.1 billion in profits, $24.6 billion in assets and $17.3 billion in market value. , China's display panel manufacturing company BOE also entered the Forbes "Global Listed Company 2000", ranked 506.
