What are the methods of assembling and adjusting the crawler track?

Excavators often exhibit the phenomenon of crawler chain shedding at work, especially for machines that use a long time for driving. Operators with insufficient operating experience often have no countermeasures. Then how to assemble a chain after the chain has fallen off? How to reduce or Is this a certain degree of avoidance of this phenomenon?

Prior to work:

1. Inform the construction party that there is a problem with walking, and you need to stop working to deal with it.

2. Determine the surrounding environment of the machine. After the crawler falls off, try to select a spacious, level and solid site. There are mounds or stones, branches and other obstacles around the crawler, which can be leveled with an excavator machine bucket to maintain a certain range of rotation and walking. .

3. Judging the extent of the excavator shedding, if it is the fall off caused by the object breakage or other faults, the repair personnel should be promptly notified to repair. Check whether the excavator track is filled with mud sand, if there is a large number of objects mixed, it needs to be cleaned in time. The reason that most crawlers fall off is that there are too many debris in crawler devices and they fall off during the steering operation. Especially when the crawler links at poor conditions are worn out, the clearance is large and they are more likely to fall off.

4. Use a wrench or sleeve to remove the tracked grease fitting and use the excavator bucket to hold the crawler off the side of the track. The butter will follow the extrusion and the drive wheel will retract.

Track assembly method:

Method 1: Turn the chain live joints to the middle height of both ends and knock them out. At this time, the track shoes can be placed flat and in a shape. The excavator machine unilaterally walks directly above the track. At this time, we need a The steel bar “leads” the track plate to the “right track.” Starting from the driving wheel assembly, put the iron bar under the track plate and hold the machine to rotate the track. At this time, one person needs to operate in the cab to walk while lifting the track. Rotate the crawler, go through the upper idler, and walk to the guide wheel position. At this time, place an object on the guide wheel. At this time, the crawler is docked on both sides and the live pin can be assembled. This part also applies to the rubber track. Assembly, due to the aging of live pins, it is difficult to beat, and even welding and cutting equipment is required to assemble. Therefore, this method is generally not recommended.

Method 2: When all the tracks on one side are detached, clean up the surrounding debris on the track. The drive wheels must be docked first. The upper track should be picked up by a bucket. At the same time, the drive wheels should be aligned and entered inside the track. Align the drive teeth and align the upper tug. This step is one-third complete.

Hold the machine unilaterally to make the track straight, hold up the machine again and get off the train to adjust the lower crawler, try to make the track fall after the track is aligned with the track, to this step has been completed by two-thirds. Just use a light bucket Lift the excavator up and use the bucket teeth to lift the crawler so that the guide wheel enters the crawler. Then, adjust the track aligning with the guide wheel, then turn the crawler and fill in the butter. Then the crawler has been assembled.
