More than 600 units, valued at several hundred thousand RMB, allegedly infringe on the right to use the 'EMERSON QUIET KOOL' trademark reserved by the right holder Emerson Electric Company for record at the General Administration of Customs.
At present, the right holder has confirmed in writing that the above goods are products that infringe on its trademark right. At present, the customs has detained the goods involved in the case and the case is under further investigation. This case is the largest infringement case investigated this year.
Customs reminds: For goods subject to import and export infringement of intellectual property rights protected by the laws and administrative regulations of the People's Republic of China, the customs will confiscate the infringing goods and impose a fine of less than 30% of the value of the goods; if a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
