Thailand's IRPC plans to build a new large aromatics complex

According to Hydrocarbon Processing Online May 23, Honeywell announced that the major refining and petrochemical company IRPC in Thailand will use Honeywell UOP's advanced processing technology to build a large aromatics complex in Rayong, Thailand.

As part of the project, Honeywell UOP will provide licenses, design, key equipment and advanced catalysts and absorbers. The joint venture project will be completed by 2022 and designed to produce 1.2 million tons of paraxylene annually for production. Plastic resin, film and fiber.
