A number of achievements in China's heterogeneous computing standards are expected to accelerate landing

Original Title: 2018 China Heterogeneous System Architecture Standards and Global Heterogeneous System Architecture Standards (HSA CRC) Seminar Held in Hunan

On May 29, 2018, the China Heterogeneous System Architecture Standards (CSH) and Global Heterogeneous System Architecture Standards (HSA CRC) Seminar was successfully held in Hunan Institute of Technology. This conference was organized by China Electronics Technology Standards Institute, a global heterogeneous group. Sponsored by the System Architecture Alliance China Regional Committee (HSA CRC), the China Heterogeneous System Architecture Standards Working Group (CSH) and the Hunan Institute of Technology. From the HSA Alliance Member Units, a member unit of the China Heterogeneous System Architecture Standards Working Group, related universities, research More than 50 experts and scholars from institutions and enterprises attended the conference. In recent years, heterogeneous computing has become a research hotspot in high-end programmable chips, low-power software definition chips, embedded computing, and high-performance computing. The development direction of mainstream computer architecture has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad. This conference revolves around the latest developments in domestic and international research on heterogeneous computing standards and heterogeneous computing in artificial intelligence, intelligent security, intelligent robots, intelligent assisted driving/unmanned driving , Smart Internet of Things, commercial satellite spaceborne platforms and other fields of application of technical seminars and proposals for the relevant production The industry's product R&D, industrial division of labor, ecological formation, and consistency testing provide key interface definitions and support. China's heterogeneous computing standards are China's first national standards research project in the field of next-generation programmable heterogeneous computing system chips. The formulation of China's big-data and artificial intelligence era to seize the high-end processor architecture design and promote the rapid development of the relevant industry chain is of great significance and far-reaching impact, it is expected to completely break the monopoly of foreign giants high-end chip industry.

The meeting focused on the first version of the series of standard proposals and the review of a number of new standard proposals. At the meeting, Dr. Zhang Xiaodong, the head of the China Standardization Working Group on Heterogeneous System Architecture, introduced the work of the China Heterogeneous Computing Standards Working Group in 2018. Work objectives, work progress and action plans. The working groups discussed and interpreted the first standard series of standards for heterogeneous system architectures. They gave positive suggestions on the draft's overall framework, content focus, and new sections. Subsequently, National Grid, Huaxia Core, Fudan University, Jiangsu Software Defined Radio Center, Beijing Micropower, National Institute of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, and other standard work group members assessed the application of standards, respectively, instruction architecture, system architecture, security protection and network Standards and deliberations were conducted in areas such as interconnection.

This conference is the first meeting of the China Standardization Working Group on Heterogeneous Systems Architecture. The scale of the members has been increasing since the establishment of the Standard Working Group. At present, over 50 enterprises, institutions of higher learning, and research institutes have joined, and they have been established one after another. Application and evaluation, virtual instruction architecture, system architecture, compilation and library, operating system and multi-vendor, network interconnection, security and system protection and conformance testing, 8 working groups, has become China's heterogeneous computing standards , the core platform for implementation and ecological construction.

In the follow-up, the Working Group on Heterogeneous Systems Architecture Standards in China will continue to conduct series of discussions and exchange activities in Nanjing on the progress of China's heterogeneous computing standards and on the application of technologies and achievements in artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and robotics in Nanjing in June. The enterprises, universities, and research institutes that are interested in the architecture of heterogeneous systems participate in the formulation of national standards for heterogeneous system architecture.
