Recently, under the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project and Beijing Institute of Technology Innovative Talent Science and Technology Grant (the “Millions Plan” Youth Top-notch Personnel Development Fund), the Institute of Frontier Interdisciplinary Sciences, Beijing Institute of Technology Cui Binbin Special Associate Research Fellow Group and Materials Professor Chen Qi's research team cooperated with the college's 'Thousand Young People'. The research on hole transport materials in high-perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has made new progress.
Relevant research results were published in Engineering Technology Energy and Energy, entitled 'Naphtho'1,2-b:4,3-b' 'dithiophene-based Hole Transporting Materials for High-performance Perovskite Solar Cells: Molecular Engineering and Opto-electronic Properties'. "Journal of Materials Chemistry A" (Impact Factor 8.667) in the area of fuels 1. The author and the chief correspondent of the article are Cui Binbin's special associate research fellows. Professor Chen Qi is the co-corresponding author.
Cui Binbin and his collaborators designed and synthesized two low-cost triarylamine derivatives, PBT and NDT, based on π-bridge with 'ortho-thiophene-benzene' and 'naphthoquinothiophene' respectively, and will be used in both of them. π-Donor configuration of organic small molecules as hole transport layer materials in perovskite solar cell devices, is a potential application of perovskite solar cell hole transport material.
