Under the terms of the agreement, the joint venture plans to establish a chemical plant in PlasChem Park, purchasing ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO) from Sadara to provide its various specialty chemical productions. Harcros-ARA's proposed facility will produce specialty chemicals for a variety of applications, including building materials, coatings and coating additives, metal processing, water treatment and enhanced oil recovery.
