On May 17th, Visionox's sixth-generation full-flex AMOLED screen panel production line was officially launched in Gu'an Industrial New City, Langfang City, Hebei Province.
This production line has an investment of nearly 30 billion yuan. It has complete independent intellectual property rights and incorporates a number of independent innovation technologies and key processes. It is currently one of the most professional and advanced all-soft production lines in China.
The production line is expected to be mass-produced in the second half of this year. The designed capacity is 30,000 per month, which can meet the demand of nearly 100 million smartphones and other devices for high-end screens and reduce or even get rid of dependence on foreign products.
It is also one of the highest-invested and highest-tech projects in Hebei Province.
It is understood that Visionox, formerly known as the OLED project team of Tsinghua University in 1996, currently has more than 3,500 OLED related patents, especially flexible AMOLED technology has reached the world advanced level.
The AMOLED screen has the advantages of self-luminous, wide viewing angle, high contrast, fast response, etc. Compared with passive OLEDs, it has a higher refresh rate and consumes less energy.
