David Watkins, director of Strategy Analytics commented: '2018 Q1 Amazon and Google share of total global shipments reached 70%, although their share of the total compared with 84% and 94% in 2017 Q1 2017 Q4 declined. partly due to strong growth in the Chinese market, while Amazon and Google are still absent Chinese market smart speaker Ali Baba and the millet leader in China, relying on the strength of China's domestic market is enough to push them promoted to the global top five. '

David Mercer, Vice President of Strategy Analytics, added: “The further robust growth in smart speaker sales confirms our view that this new market is not a flash in the pan. Today, smart speakers are not fully formed, but they have already attracted the imagination of consumers. In the coming years, we will see the rapid development of design, functionality and related use cases. In the near future, voice will join the keyboard, mouse and touch screen, etc. become a standard way of interaction.
