Solar Power Group issued a news release on May 14, 2018: The company obtained a contract for the development and construction of the 8 MW solar photovoltaic power station project in Gangwon Province, South Korea. This is the first time that Atos has built a photovoltaic power station in Korea. The project is expected to start construction in early 2019.
As early as 2008, Artes established a branch in South Korea. It is a well-known brand in Korea's photovoltaic market and has ranked first in terms of shipments of foreign brands in Korea's photovoltaic market for 10 consecutive years.

In addition, in March of this year, Artes entered into a trading agreement with Korea Electric Power Co., Ltd. and successfully completed the delivery of three photovoltaic power plants. KEPCO acquired the three photovoltaic power stations of Artes, located in southern California, USA. Capacity of 309 MW(DC). This transaction is also the largest investment Korea Electric Power Company (KEPCO) currently completes in the US solar market.
