Wi-Fi Alliance Launches Easy Mesh Certification: Cross-Branded Distributed Wireless Network

Mesh Wi-Fi is a more advanced network overlay technology that replaces traditional wireless relays and power cats. The routing of any one node can communicate with each other to form a network that can communicate with each other like a 'bee hive'.

Compared to traditional relays and power cats, Mesh does not require wiring, no speed attenuation, and becomes a big family, the new first for small business offices.

The brands that currently support Mesh Wi-Fi use the design of son-and-male routing. Of course, related products come from their own home. The Wi-Fi Alliance announced the launch of the Wi-Fi EasyMesh standard certification on the evening of May 14. In simple terms, cross-platform mesh communication deployment can be achieved through certified routing devices.

It is reported that EasyMesh supports wired and wireless data backhaul. Backhaul can be shared or private.

Even more forceful is that EasyMesh does not rely on dedicated hardware, but it can be implemented with software, ie firmware upgrade. The first batch of confirmed support vendors is not yet clear. PCWorld hopes that Netware and Linksys will follow up.
