'The Chinese auto industry is being rewritten. There are many opportunities in this process and there are also many challenges. ' Xu Liuping said. In his opinion, the FAW Group's problems are already very clear. The difficulty lies in advancing the courage and implementation of reforms. Force. In the moment, what FAW Group can do is to seek cooperation with an open attitude, and at the same time, resolutely complete internal rectification.

In fact, since September 2017, Xu Liuping has been advancing reforms. In addition to introducing the '711 work system' and 'job competition system', he has also deployed talents from the outside, broken down the lack of competition, and organized personnel’s links. pattern.

With regard to the current reform measures of FAW Group, Xu Liuping intends to divide FAW Group into three business divisions: commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles and Hongqi. In addition, FAW Group also took a stake in Mobai in January of this year. In March, it cooperated with Audi on the trip, and in April invested in the “new car force” Beiteng. After Xu Liuping took office, he adjusted the red flag's product matrix and divided it into L, H, S, and Q lines, which are targeted at high-end luxury, coupe, luxury, and commercial vehicles. It is planned to launch in 2025 including 15 models. The 17 new cars, including new energy vehicles, are expected to achieve full L5 driverlessness by 2025.
