The "Egyptian Bulletin" reported on May 7th: The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Industry issued a statement saying that the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the United States has recently issued an order to remove plastic waste and rubber waste from the list of prohibited imports. The order states that inspection by an internationally recognized laboratory is not Plastic scrap and rubber waste containing any contaminated or harmful substances can be imported into Egypt, and only recycling companies registered with the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) can import such scrap.
