Designed specifically for Wear OS watches, Qualcomm’s new processor will be launched this fall

Many people expect that the Google I/O 2018 that was unveiled before will have Wear OS-related news, but unfortunately the conference will focus on In terms of artificial intelligence and Android P improvements.

With the Android Wear system renamed Wear OS, it is expected that the hardware will also need to be improved. The Xiaolong Wear 2100 processor, which is widely used in the Wear OS smart watch, has been introduced for two years and was used as a replacement for the modified Xiaolong 400 processor. Now Wear 2100 has fallen behind. It is reported that Qualcomm is preparing to launch a third-generation chip designed specifically for Wear OS watches. The processor will be redesigned for the needs and experience of smart watches.

The new processor can prolong battery life and at the same time increase speed to match the watch's health and athletic functions.
