(May 11, 2018, Shanghai, China) Ford Motor Co. announced today that it has sold a total of 69,503 vehicles in China in April 2018, a year-on-year drop of 26%; it has accumulated sales of nearly 277,000 units from January to April this year, a 21% decrease from the same period of last year. Changan Ford sold 40,703 vehicles in April, a year-on-year drop of 35%. In January-April this year, sales totaled more than 165,000 units, a decrease of 28% from the same period of last year. Jiangling Motors sold 23,903 units in April, which was 6% lower than last year; Accumulated sales exceeded 90,000 units in April, down 6% from the same period of last year. Lincoln brand sales totaled 3,553 units in April, a year-on-year decrease of 14%. However, demand for the Lincoln brand luxury sedans and large SUVs remained strong.
