According to Korean media reports, currently BOE is seeking to open up overseas markets. The latest news that BOE has reached a cooperation agreement with Samsung Electronics will provide TV panels for Samsung.
The news also stated that the panel price provided by BOE is 60% lower than the cost (this is related to domestic subsidies, support, and reduced cost pressures) in exchange for Samsung's technical support, thereby improving BOE panel yield.

It should be noted that Samsung currently manufactures OLED screens and has withdrawn from the LCD panel area a few years ago. At present, the LCD panels supplied by Sharp (acquired by Foxconn) account for approximately 10% of Samsung's required, approximately 400- 5 million pieces.
While BOE is continuing to promote the development of large-size and ultra-high-definition display industries, in the field of TV panels, the competitiveness of the global market has significantly improved. BOE built two 10.5-generation LCD panels in China, including the world’s first 10.5 generation at the end of last year in Hefei. The line was mass-produced in advance, and the monthly production capacity of glass substrates reached 120,000 pieces. It is mainly used for the production of LCD panels with sizes of 65 inches and above. In the first quarter of 2018, the shipments of BOE's 55-inch display panels increased by nearly 30% year-on-year, and the size of 65 inches was substantially higher. Growth of 136%, 4K TV panel shipments increased by 34%.
It is reported that, at present, BOE has supplied TV LCD panels to Samsung, LG, Sony, Changhong, Hisense, Konka, Skyworth, Xiaomi, TPV and many other well-known color TV brands at home and abroad.
