Korean media: Samsung Galaxy S10 will support under-screen fingerprinting and 3D perception

According to the information disclosed by Korean media, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be released ahead of schedule in January next year, with the aim of avoiding the 'collision' of folding mobile phones released in February. The other sources also stated that the S10 is the 10th anniversary model of the Samsung S series. It (finally) will support under-the-screen fingerprinting and 3D perception technology, but it seems that these two technologies are not new technologies anymore. What innovations can Samsung's 10th anniversary model have? It seems that the folding machine is the trump card.

The article points out that Samsung has been trying to deploy an under-screen fingerprinting solution for mobile phones for the past two years, but they all ended in regret. However, by 2019, Samsung will use S10 to prove itself. Reports that Samsung will prepare for next year's Galaxy S tenth anniversary model S10. Some special things, under-screen fingerprinting are among them. Currently Samsung is working with Qualcomm, Synaptics and Ezestek to develop the solution.

As for 3D perception technology, Korean media said Samsung Electronics Research Institute is working with Israel's 3D algorithm company Manits Vision to provide algorithm support for S10. However, the technology is not yet ready. The article points out that the current supplier of fingerprint parts under screen has already begun. Production-related components, but 3D-sensing camera vendors have not done anything yet.
