According to professionals, the basic function of an air purifier is to remove airborne particulate matter, gaseous pollutants, microbes, and other contaminants, and to make the air clean. Therefore, the purification ability becomes an assessment. The core index of air purifier performance is high. The clean air volume is one of the key testing items corresponding to this index.

Of the 21 projects tested by the National Government, 11 have found problems, involving electrical safety, performance and electromagnetic compatibility.
