The kit released today includes the SensorXplorer demo board, which acts as a USB to I2C interface between PC software and each Vishay sensor demo board. The kit also includes a micro-USB cable to connect the demo board to the PC. The USB adapter is Post-compatible, so that users can use the sensor board previously purchased with the Sensor Starter Kit.
In addition to an installation application guide, the SensorXplorer Kit also has software developed in LabVIEW that can be downloaded at http://www.Vishay.com/ref/SensorXplorer. Older users of the Sensor Starter Kit also need to download new software.
The SensorXplorer Kit is available now, with a lead time of eight weeks to ten weeks.
