On April 22, Meizu released its 15th anniversary flagship Meizu 15 series in Wuzhen. Now, Meizu’s head of global marketing Ard Boudeling announced on Twitter that Meizu will cooperate with Google to launch its first Android GO mobile phone.
Android Go is Google's Android system designed for entry-level mobile phones launched at the 2017 I/O Global Developer Conference. It simplifies the current Android system, allowing it to run on mobile phones with 1GB or less of memory. Mobile phones using the Android Go system are generally the main low-end entry-level market.
Since it is a simplified version of the Anroid system, mobile phones equipped with Android Go are generally entry-level products, which can maintain the system's fluency even when the configuration is relatively low.
At present, there is not much specific information about Meizu's Android Go. I believe follow-ups should be constantly exposed.
