MediaTek fully understands the government’s system and also confirms that MediaTek’s external statement is correct.

Senior officials emphasized that the 'Ministry of Economic Affairs' has included ZTE's equipment and ZTE Kangxun two companies in the export control of strategic high-tech goods. It is not forbidden to export to ZTE. However, if the goods are exported to the two companies, You must obtain a strategic high-tech product export license in advance and then export it to Customs.

The official said that as long as it is confirmed that the export project does not involve the development of nuclear, biological, chemical and other military weapons, the International Trade Bureau will issue an export license.

Officials stressed that the government’s control system for high-tech exports is not to ban exports, but to help manufacturers confirm that export items do not involve nuclear weapons, biological, chemical and other military weapons.
