On the 23rd, a reporter from the Science and Technology Daily learned from the Chongqing University of Science and Technology that the development project of the “Development of the Steering System 5-Axis Performance Test Bench” for the application development project of the Chongqing Science and Technology Commission has been undertaken by the Chongqing Science and Technology Commission. The project team has successfully developed a steering system with five axes. The test stand is China's first independently researched and developed steering system 5-axis test stand.
Professor Liao Linqing, head of the project team, introduced that this research and development overcomes the disadvantages of the existing 3-axis test bench in China that can only test the machining quality of components and cannot accurately test and analyze the performance and problems of the steering system, and increases the performance of the steering system with suspension. The test function, using its own authorized national invention patent program, realizes the simulation of the main driving conditions, more accurately reproduces the real working conditions of the steering system in the vehicle steering process, and can also accurately test the steering system performance parameters. Provides technical support for independent research and development of steering systems and EPS steering systems.
