According to Taiwan media reports, the new generation of iPhone X will use the A12 processor, and TSMC will again have an exclusive order for this processor, which will be based on its own 7nm process production.
For its own 7nm process, TSMC said that compared with the previous 10nm FinFET process, the 7nm FinFET has 1.6 times the logic density, 20% speed increase, and 40% power reduction.
In other words, after using this process, Apple's latest A12 processor will be at least 20% faster than its predecessor, the A11, and its efficiency will also be increased by 40%. Are we satisfied with this improvement?
According to the plan, Apple will release three new iPhones this year, namely, the iPhone X, the iPhone X Plus and the 6.1-inch low-cost iPhone X. All three should adopt the Liu Haiping + face recognition program.
