Dailian Pinjia Introduces BLDC Motor Control Solution Based on Richtek Technology and Products

On April 17, 2018, Broadcom Holdings, a leading distributor of semiconductor components dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced that its product line is based on Richtek's RT7100/RT7075 (two-in-one) / New BLDC FOC Sensor-Less motor control solution for RT7051 and RT7052 (triple) MCUs. Designed specifically for industrial fans, home fans and FFU (Fan Filters) applications.

Richtek's RT7100/RT7075 (two-in-one) and RT7052 (triple) main functions are BLDC/PMSM motor control application microprocessors. It integrates an ARM 32-bit Cortex-M0 core and peripheral motor control circuit and contains FOC ( Field Oriented Control with Sensor less and With Hall Sensor motor control algorithms. The system includes ADC, DCA, communication interface, SVPWM, Watch dog, Timer, current sensing, over current protection and over temperature protection. All are integrated in the same IC, with RT7300 (PFC IC) + RT8409GS-F (Buck IC) + RT9058-50GV (LDO) can effectively reduce the number of peripheral devices and save board space and reduce system costs. The above utility features make RT7100/RT7075 can be widely used in the field of motor control.

RT7100/RT7075 has passed the IEC60730-1 Class B household appliance safety standard daily necessities specification and passed the certification. UL engineers can directly use this UL certification to shorten the product development cycle. The RT7075 (2-in-1) includes a Gate driver, which can effectively shorten the motor control circuit. Board space and cost. RT7051/RT7052 (triple play), MCU+Gate Driver+MOSFET suitable for application and then miniaturized motor 50W product applications.
