From January to March of 2018, the nationwide online retail sales were 193.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.4%. Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods were 1,456.7 billion yuan, an increase of 34.4%, accounting for 16.1% of the total retail sales of consumer goods; In retail sales, food, wear and used goods increased by 46.5%, 33.9% and 33.3%, respectively.

From January to March 2018, retail sales of supermarkets, department stores, specialty stores, and specialty stores in retail establishments above designated size increased by 7.7%, 5.5%, 9.5%, and 9.6%, respectively.

2. Survey object

Legal person enterprises, industrial activity units and self-employed households engaged in commodity retail activities or provision of catering services. Among them, units above the designated size refer to wholesale business enterprises (units) with an annual main business income of 20 million yuan and above, and retail sales of 5 million yuan or more. Enterprises (units), accommodation and catering enterprises (units) with a price of 2 million yuan or more.

3. Survey method
