This evening, AMD's second-generation APU officially unveiled. At the same time, the ASUS Crosshair VII Hero motherboard was officially released.
Our fast technology has already got this motherboard first. Here's a picture for everyone.
As the name suggests, the new board has a Wi-Fi wireless module that supports dual-band 802.11ac, a maximum transmission rate of 867Mbps, and supports 2x2 MU-MIMO multi-input and multi-output technology, while also providing Bluetooth 4.1 (Windows 7/8.1 supports Bluetooth 4.0 at most).
In appearance, The overall design of the Crosshair VII Hero (WiFi) has been greatly improved compared to the previous generation. The power supply of the CPU is still 8+4 phase. The CPU power supply area covers a large area of the metal heat sink, and the surface groove increases the heat dissipation area.
In addition, the memory slot became a reinforced type with a metal buckle. The PCI-E x1 interface that was placed under the CPU was changed to an M.2 interface and an M.2 heat sink was added to the memory slot.
The motherboard also provides four 5050 light strip interfaces, six SATA 6Gbps ports, 12 USB interfaces, and a new PS/2 interface.
