Lenovo Group ranked second in terms of PC shipments in the first quarter was 12.305 million units, which was basically the same as 12.3 million units in the same period of last year. Volume was flat with the same period last year, but the Latin American market did not perform as well as last year.
Dell ranked third in terms of PC shipments in the first quarter of 10.19 million units, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year, and its market share increased from 15.9% in the same period last year to 16.9%.
Acer Computer ranked fourth, with PC shipments of 4.085 million units in the first quarter, a year-on-year decrease of 7.7%, and a decrease in market share from 7.3% in the same period last year to 6.8%.
Apple ranked fifth, with PC shipments of 4 million units in the first quarter, a year-on-year decrease of 4.8%, and market share dropped from 7.0% in the same period last year to 6.6%.
