On April 11th, the first National IC "Entrepreneurship Core" Contest Series Roadshow Nanjing Station was successfully held in Nanjing Integrated Circuit Industry Service Center. After the previous strict screening, '8 hours flexible sensing system', 'Terahertz video streaming 11 projects such as the security checker', 'OOL travel power' etc. participated in the Nanjing Road Roadshow. The project involved artificial intelligence chips, flexible electronics, smart packaging, microwave radio frequency chips and other fields.
The road show was jointly held with Nanjing IC Industry Service Center (IcisC). Fujian IC Industrial Park provided strong support for activities, including 9 agencies including SMIC, Jinpu Investment, and Beijing Lancome Capital Management Co., Ltd. Relevant person in charge conducted on-site assessment of the roadshow project. In addition, the roadshow attracted many investors to the scene to communicate with the person in charge of the roadshow project and reached a certain degree of cooperation intention. The atmosphere on the site was warm.
On April 10th, the Nanjing station series also invited the president of Ai Xin College, the former core member of the founding team of SMIC Dr. Xie Zhifeng, a professor of the Institute of Microelectronics of Tsinghua University, a tutor of doctoral students, and a professor of the IEEE lifetime Fellow Professor Yu Zhiping. The guests conducted training on integrated circuit entrepreneurship training. The two guests combined their own innovation and entrepreneurial experience and conducted interactive exchanges with students and entrepreneurs on site. The audience showed great benefits.
The National IC “Entrepreneurship Core” Contest is sponsored by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and organized by the Jinjiang City People’s Government to focus on the national events in the early stage of integrated circuit projects; the contest finals will be held in Jinjiang, Fujian Province in May. The city held the competition. Since its launch in November 2017, the competition has steadily progressed with the concern and support of all relevant departments. It has achieved positive social repercussions and attracted widespread attention. Within the next two months, the competition will be held in Shanghai, Changzhou, Chengdu, Dongguan and other places held project roadshows, entrepreneurship training, industry forums, expert consultations and many other activities.
