The polyester line is one of the main production lines of Liaoyang Petrochemical Company. The polyester product is also one of the company's main traditional products. However, with the changes in market demand, the fiber-grade polyester products produced by Liaoyang Petrochemical Company have become increasingly 'out of favor' and have suffered serious losses. While retaining a production area and focusing on scientific and technological personnel to develop new products, the company decisively shut down 64 production areas in July 2013.

In the past two years, the company has continued to develop polyester product differentiation, high-end technology and branding technology. It has successively developed products such as BG60, MA100, MA101 grade film polyester and PETG copolyester, and broke through foreign technical barriers in the second half of last year. , Successfully developed solar back sheet BG60T grade film special materials, laying a solid foundation for the company's development of film polyester, functional polyester, and high-end polyester. It is understood that BG60 polyester products currently occupy 60% of the market share.

Based on the consideration of joint production, joint research on new products and formation of economies of scale, the company decided to resume production in the 64th district and co-produce with the 66th district to trial production of multi-grade polyester new products. In order for the district to resume production, the company started from the beginning of this year. The equipment in the production area was overhauled, and the problems such as large process deviations that occurred in the production process in Area 66 were repeatedly examined and optimized. The production process and operation plan were optimized. After a 10-day review, the 64th area was not only low in drive and discharge.
