According to GTM Research, the top five market share has risen from 59% a year ago.
Last year, photovoltaic (PV) inverter shipments increased by 23% compared to 2016, while revenue increased by 11%. In Europe, except for Turkey, inverter shipments increased by 34%, but solar equipment increased by only 8 %. With the deployment of these products, GTM expects solar energy growth to continue in 2018.
GTM points out that, overall, 20 suppliers shipped more than 1 GW of solar inverters this year, which is an increase from 15 in 2016.
