Britain’s political consultancy Cambridge Analytica has faced tremendous pressure after Facebook’s massive user data was inappropriately captured.
Christopher Wylie, who once worked at Cambridge Analytica, said that the company had worked with Canadian company AggregateIQ.
Facebook stated in a statement: “Recently there have been reports that AggregateIQ may be associated with SCL (Strategic Communication Laboratories) and may have acquired Facebook user data in an inappropriate manner. During the investigation, we have added it to the blockade. In the list. Our internal review continues. We will fully cooperate with any investigation by the regulatory authorities.
SCL is a government, military contract contractor and is the parent company of Cambridge Analytica.
