According to the official website of the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, April 4, 2018, the State Administration of Market Supervision announced the results of the national supervision and inspection of the product quality of domestic gas rapid water heaters. In the second quarter of 2018, a total of four surveys were conducted in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong. 60 batches of domestic gas rapid water heaters produced by 60 enterprises in the provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government. There are 9 batches of products that do not meet the requirements of the standard.
The spot check was based on the mandatory national standard GB6932-2015 "Home Gas Rapid Water Heater", GB20665-2015 "Home Gas Rapid Water Heater and Gas Heating Water Heater" and CEL009-2016 "Home Gas Rapid Water Heater and Gas". Requirements for the Implementation of Energy Efficiency Markers for Heating Water Heaters, Gas Systems for Household Gas Rapid Water Heaters, Airtightness, Flame Stabilization, No-wind State Carbon Monoxide Content, Preventing Incomplete Combustion Safety Devices (Natural Exhaust Type ) Fire extinguishing protection device, flue blocking safety device, air pressure excessive safety device, anti-drying safety device, grounding measures, electric strength, hot water yield, thermal efficiency, energy efficiency identification and other 13 items were examined.
Spot checks found that 9 batches of products did not meet the requirements of the standard, involving the carbon monoxide content in the smokeless state, prevention of incomplete combustion safety devices (natural exhaust type), energy efficiency identification items.
