Remote Keyboard can be used to turn the user's smart phone or tablet into a keyboard and mouse to remotely control the Intel NUC minicomputer, Compute Stick computing stick device, support for shortcut keys, different keyboard layout, gesture operation, DPI sensitivity adjustment.
There are more than 500,000 downloads in the Google Play store. The overall rating is 3.8. It's OK.
However, recently, the software was found to have three security holes that would lead to privilege escalation, allowing attackers to access the same network, perform key injections to local users or another keyboard session, or execute arbitrary code.
After some investigation, Intel believes that these loopholes are not worth repairing. Instead, they directly remove it from the Google Play, App Store store, and notify users to delete them as soon as possible.
It is worth mentioning that this software was last updated in June 2017. It seems that Intel has no interest in it for a long time.
