Korean media said South Korea's Future Assets Group plans to raise 264.8 million U.S. dollars in investment

According to Korean media reports, Korea Future Asset Finance Group plans to set up a KRW 280 billion (US$264.8 million) fund to invest in the Chinese car platform.

It is reported that this investment is also the largest cross-border equity investment in the history of future assets. The group said that the new private equity fund will be managed by future assets, and Mirae Asset Daweoo Co. has joined as a major investor.

According to the report, Didi is a unicorn technology company invested by one of the future asset financial groups. In the future, the group plans to seek more domestic and foreign unicorn technology ventures to provide investors with more investment options.

It is understood that Softbank is currently the largest shareholder of Didi. It is also Uber's largest shareholder. Didi's other investors include Tencent, Ali and Apple.
