Google CEO: Will increase its efforts in China | 'Recruiting horses' to strengthen AI's R&D

According to Bloomberg News, during the 2018 annual meeting of the China Development High Level Forum in Beijing, Google CEO Sundar Pichai ('Chai Cang Ge') stated that it will strengthen the allocation of human resources in China.

At present, Google has only a small part of the research team in China, which is far from the Silicon Valley matrix.

'Chai Cang Ge' stated that Google hopes to use AI (Artificial Intelligence) as its starting point and seek opportunities in China.

The report mentioned that in September 2017, Google Beijing released a large number of job search information, including more than 20 jobs in software engineering, product management, and marketing. In December, Google expanded its AI research and development scale in China.

It is worth mentioning that in January last year, Google and Tencent also signed a patent cross-licensing agreement valued at 500 million U.S. dollars, involving advanced technologies including AI.
