Foglia stated that in the three years of 2015-17, its orders totaled 62 billion euros (including new BMW orders), which was an increase of 9 billion euros compared to 2014-16. In the overall sales of Foglia, Seating business accounted for 42%, interiors accounted for 31%, and emissions control technology business accounted for 27%. Last year, the company's seat sales increased 9% year-on-year, operating income surged 20%, operating margin was 5.8%.
Last year, Faurecia (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd., a BYD holding subsidiary, established Shenzhen Foggia Auto Parts Co., Ltd. In addition, Faurecia (China) also signed a joint venture agreement with Wuling Industrial to establish a joint venture company. In Europe, Faurecia also set up seating projects with the Volkswagen Group.
