According to news from Anxis News San Antonio on March 26th, a representative of Formosa Petrochemical told Ancius Corporation (ICIS) in the gap of the International Petrochemical Conference (IPC) this year. The company's subsidiary FGLA is currently in the process of being located in Louis. The first phase of the petrochemical plant in the parish of St. James in Annapolis is licensed.
The first phase of the plant will include a 1.2 million-ton/year cracker, a 600,000-ton/year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit, and a 600,000-ton/year polypropylene (PP) unit. A 400,000-ton/year high-density polyethylene (HDPE) unit, a 400,000-ton/year linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) unit and a 900,000-ton/year ethylene glycol unit.
The first stage project is expected to be completed in 2022.
