AMD will soon release the Ryzen 2000 series second-generation processors, and the new X470, B450 new motherboards (the interface remains unchanged and still maintain downward compatibility for AM4). The official said there are 21 models in the first batch, including the ASUS 7 models, ASRock. 6 models, Gigabyte 3 models, MSI 3 models, Biostar 2 models.
Previously, we have also seen Gigabyte, Asustek's new board, and now we have finally seen ASUS's new brand. Player country ROG Crosshair VII Hero (C7H)It will undoubtedly be Ryzen's second generation starting top car (and of course there will be Crosshair VII Extreme).
Compared to C6H, the main changes in the new board are:
- Upgraded VRM powered heatsinks, but still maintain 8+4 phase power
- The back I/O barrier is pre-installed by default
- Reduced back USB interface from 14 to 12
- Add PS/2 Keyboard Interface
- Power on, restart button moves from bottom to top right corner
- The first PCI-E x1 slot is replaced with M.2 and comes with a heat sink
- SATA 6Gbps interface reduced from 8 to 6
Nothing else is different.
