Group Standard Launch Meeting

The conference focused on the discussion of the 7 group standard drafts for the 'Smart Factory CNC Machine Tool Shop Bus Agreement.' The group's standard, which was organized by the China Machine Tool Industry Association, was approved by the China National Machine Tool Industry Association. Standards and industry standards complement each other. Their formulation and implementation are guided and supervised by the national standardization authorities. According to the requirements of the General Association of Machine Tool Associations, the CNC system branch will undertake the management and organization of the missions involved, the CNC system and the national machine tools CNC system standardization technical committee cooperates closely, carries on the work under the guidance of CNC system standard committee.
Jin Jian, Secretary General of the National Machine Tool Numerical Control System Standardization Technical Committee, introduced: The purpose of this group's mission was to focus on the topic of the 2016 Intelligent Manufacturing Specialized 'CNC Machine Tool Interconnect Communication Protocol Standard and Test Verification' project undertaken by the CNCC. The project requires the formation of a national standard. In order to verify and apply the criteria for the development of the project as soon as possible, it was decided, based on the recommendations of the Association of Machine Tool Associations, to start the application of the 7-item group at the same time.
After serious discussions and collective consultations, the important resolutions formed at the meeting were as follows: The name of the group was revised, and the tentative name was “CNC equipment industry interconnection protocol”. For the seven groups, the lead unit and the participating units were identified. The next work plan and time node for the group and national standard are planned; during the CCMT2018 exhibition, the 2016 smart manufacturing project team is organized to hold the first national standards expert review meeting and group standard work conference.
