The new rules of the central bank will be implemented on April 1st: Static code payment will be up to 500 yuan per day

Nowadays, it has become everyone’s daily life to bring a mobile phone to go out and pay for it. However, the security threat cannot be ignored. Therefore, the Central Bank has already made regulations to use Alipay in the future, and WeChat scan code payment should be limited.

At the end of 2017, the Central Bank issued the “PBC issued <条码支付业务规范(试行)>The "Notices", supporting the issuance of "Barcode Payment Security Technical Specifications (Trial)" and "Barcode Payment Terminal Technical Specifications (Trial)", implemented from April 1, 2018.

The new regulation classifies A, B, C, and D risks of various types of barcodes into four categories, and specifies transaction limits, which correspond to autonomous agreements, up to 5,000 yuan, up to 1,000 yuan, and up to 500 yuan.

The use of static bar codes belongs to class D. The cumulative transaction amount for a single bank account or all payment accounts for the same customer should not exceed 500 yuan.

Many people mistakenly believe that the new rules require that all code payments be limited to a maximum of 500 yuan per day. Complaints are not enough. However, note that this is only for static bar codes, which are daily street stalls and various bar code scans.

This type of collection QR code is basically self-printed by an individual merchant and belongs to a static barcode.

At the same time, the vast majority of people spending on such occasions will hardly exceed 500 yuan a day, so the impact will not be significant. If the number of people actually exceeds 500 yuan, it can also be solved by means of transfer or merchant scanning the user's mobile payment code.

For large businesses, supermarkets, etc. use scan code guns, scan the user's payment code settlement, not subject to new regulations.
