At 11:30 on March 12th, with the smooth opening of the propylene delivery valve by the operator, the propylene in the four-slot tanker was fed into the propylene spherical tank through the pipeline at the same time, marking the expansion of Guangzhou Petrochemical's propylene unloading system. Smooth investment.
After the Guangzhou Petrochemical 200,000-ton/year No. 3 polypropylene plant was put into operation, the shortage of propylene raw materials began to become prominent. To ensure the high load operation of the three polypropylene units, a large amount of propylene was purchased as a raw material. However, due to the existing propylene tipper Insufficient facilities restrict the increase of equipment load and affect the company's overall efficiency.
Therefore, Guangzhou Petrochemical cooperated with Zhongguan Antai Company to implement an expansion and reconstruction project for the propylene unloading system. The main contents of the transformation were based on the original two propane tank unloading stations, adding two unloading stations for propylene tank trucks, and one compressor. And related pipeline facilities.
The expansion and transformation project was started in September 2017. The project was implemented by the production scheduling department, planning and operation department, material supply center, development planning department, storage and transportation department and other related departments, and the full cooperation of Zhong Guan An Tai Company. Successfully completed and put into use recently.
After the expansion and reconstruction project of the propylene unloading system was put into operation, four propylene tankers were unloaded at the same time, which greatly improved the capacity and efficiency of propylene unloading. The daily maximum unloading capacity was increased from the original 10 vehicles to 20 vehicles. The unloading capacity of propylene increased from the original 6,000 tons to 12,000 tons, which solved the problem of insufficient unloading capacity of propylene and eliminated the bottleneck that restricted the high-load operation of the three polypropylene units, laying a solid foundation for improving the efficiency of the plant.
